Finding that perfect amalgam of legal and technological expertise can be difficult in the legal world of today, but as the legal tech field continues to expand, along with it comes leaders whose expertise places them at the industry’s forefront.
One such leader is TransPerfect Legal Solutions’ Al-Karim Makhani, who was appointed as the e-discovery and litigation support solutions provider’s senior case consultant. A former law firm associate experienced in leveraging legal technology for litigation, Makhani will operate out of TransPerfect’s London headquarters. Here, he will be tasked with both in-house counsel and law firms in the development of tech-based solutions in an effort to provide clients with a “competitive advantage” in legal disputes, the company said in a statement.
