Hackers allegedly linked to the Russian government were responsible for a significant breach of the computer network at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) – but there may not be too much the Democrats can do about it.

Beyond getting access to DNC e-mails and chat traffic, the hackers had access to, and likely stole, opposition research on Donald Trump, according to an initial report from The Washington Post.
