One of the key panel discussions at last month’s MIT Sloan CIO Symposium brought together a group of top cybersecurity professionals to discuss some of the most vexing issues confronting today’s enterprises. The discussion, entitled “Mitigating Cyber Risks in the Growing World of Internet-Connected Devices,” featured Roota Almeida of Delta Dental of New Jersey; Tom Ellers of Intel Security; Mark Morrison of State Street Corporation; and Sam Phillips of Samsung business services. It was moderated by Professor Stuart Madnick, director of the MIT Interdisciplinary Consortium for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity. The panel identified critical problem areas and recommended proven strategies to reduce security risks.
