Enterprise encryption became more pervasive worldwide in 2015, but companies faced challenges with data proliferation and mobility and multi-user communication channels like email, according to Thales Group’s and the Ponemon Institute’s “Encryption Application Trends Study,” which surveyed 5,000 professionals across 14 industries in 11 countries.
The extensive deploying of encryption solutions at organizations rose to 41 percent of worldwide organizations in 2015, up from 34 percent in 2014 and 30 percent in 2013.
