Day Pitney announced the addition of Jed Davis as a partner in its government enforcement and white-collar criminal defense practice. Davis will be based in New York and will focus on cybersecurity, data protection and related issues.

He previously served as the assistant district attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and assistant U.S. attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, where he was the computer hacking and intellectual property coordinator. During his time in the private sector, he focused on computer protection, data breaches and IP theft as a managing director in business intelligence and investigations at Kroll Associates, and served as principal for his own law firm.
