Google has named a general counsel in its self-driving car project. The move helps Google – by ensuring a lawyer is involved early in the process – and becomes a reminder for other tech companies that lawyers be participants in product development discussions.
Google confirmed to Legaltech News that Kevin Vosen joined the Google Self-Driving Car Project as general counsel. Corporate Counsel previously reported on the move.
