Sheryl Nolan, director of technology strategy at Microsoft Corporate, External and Legal Affairs, was selected as the second recipient of the Monica Bay STEM Leadership award.
Many of Nolan’s major contributions to the field are open-source solutions, making code available beyond the confines of Microsoft’s internal structure. Most recently, Nolan spearheaded the launch of Microsoft’s Matter Center for Office 365, an open-source, cloud-based document review hub integrated into the Office suite.
