Law firms are increasingly tasked with finding effective strategies to wade through vast volumes of data in their e-discovery practices, and knowing how to manage such magnitudes of data can be crucial to gaining a competitive edge. David Kessler, partner and chair of the e-discovery and information governance practice at Norton Rose Fulbright, says that at the end of the day, data is a means to an end for litigating attorneys.

“It’s all about telling a story. You need to know the facts to tell an effective story. How do you do that in an ocean of data?” Kessler asks.
