Canadian information management software company OpenText has announced plans to acquire Dell EMC’s Enterprise Content Division. The news comes after the company said in June that it’s scooping up e-discovery and analytics company Recommind .

The price tag on the sale, which is anticipated to close in about four months, is $1.62 billion. With the purchase, OpenText hopes to expand its enterprise information management offering.
