Law firm clients are getting more sophisticated about data and cybersecurity, pushing partners to adopt “proactive” plans for addressing data breaches before entrusting their firms with data.

“‘Proactive’ is one of the biggest buzzwords out there right now,” said Edward McAndrew, partner at Ballard Spahr and a panelist at ALM’s 2016 cyberSecure conference.
