The federal government has made updates to the legislation surrounding autonomous cars. The Hunton Privacy Blog wrote that the “Department of Transportation, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, released federal cyber guidance for autonomous cars entitled Federal Automated Vehicles Policy” on September 20.
