While elections are the main channels through which societies can change public policies, actually crafting and designing how policies will evolve encompasses more long-term efforts of lobbying, grassroots outreach and media campaigns. And for global law firm Dentons, this effort is as pivotal as litigating policies already on the books.
In an effort to connect worldwide companies and firms engaged a wide variety of public affairs, the law firm recently announced it will launch its Nextlaw Global Public Affairs Network, an online repository where vetted companies who engage in public affairs work can list their services, in early 2017. Paul Hatch, the CEO of Nextlaw Global Public Affairs Network, noted that the network was created to provide Dentons’ clients “with resources where we might not have a geographic presence.”
