As a specialist in patent and trademark prosecution, Potts’s day-to-day work largely consists of drafting documents on his computer. In trying to put together documents quickly, Potts found his keyboard quite cumbersome, as many tasks required him to click through a set of menus at regular intervals to format his documents appropriately.
