Founded in 2015, the goal of the non-profit Legal Technology Professionals Institute (LTPI) is clear: put words into action. To separate it from other legal technology non-profit groups focused on more theoretical guidance, LTPI says on its website, “It is time to move beyond talking and tinkering.”

Now, LTPI is taking steps towards that statement. In early January, the organization unveiled two resources for the legal technology community on information governance (IG) and meet-and-confer meetings within litigation. Available at the group’s website, legaltechpi.org, the aim of the effort is to provide the legal of other organizations, like the Sedona Conference, the E-Discovery Institute (EDI) and EDRM, among others, in a practical way.
