2016 was a tumultuous year in many respects, and one issue constantly resurfacing was cybersecurity. No longer an incomprehensible issue contemplated by IT professionals, cybersecurity is now the consideration of the consumer, corporation, law firm, and even the federal government.

But is the issue handled with the gravity many argue it deserves?
