Los Angeles-based Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton selected Traveling Coaches Inc.'s OnGuard Security Awareness program to help lawyers adopt security awareness in their use of technology. The security program distills complex information into concise messages that "resonate" with lawyers and and staff," according to Donna Paulson, CIO at Sheppard Mullin.

Traveling Coaches is a consultancy that helps law firms adopt technology via live current-awareness events, online content, commercials, posters, and email messages. The OnGuard Security Awareness program educates law firm personnel on how their behavior impacts data security and protected and priveleged client information. The program transmits security information in comprehensible sound bytes designed to create and sustain a heightened state of awareness to security risks and best practices to mitigate those risks.
