LexisNexis has released InterAction 6.2, an update to its customer relationship management (CRM) platform. InterAction’s primary new feature is a capacity to link contact records with multiple entries in different languages.
The company suggested that the update would help alleviate the problems that arise when the primary language established for the firm and its customer relationship management system is different from the local language of users. Users having to record contact information and interactions in a language other than the native language of the user and contact can result in duplicate records that are difficult to search. Multi-language support helps alleviate this difficulty, making it useful to global firms with clients in multiple countries. InterAction currently supports 21 different languages. LexisNexis Legal & Professional (www.lexisnexis.com) is based in New York. The company is part of Reed Elsevier Inc.
