Canadian e-discovery and information governance boutique firm Wortzman Nickle landed an e-discovery counsel from one of the largest law firms in the country.

In a Nov. 11 press release, the firm announced that it had hired Kathryn Manning to serve as counsel in the firm’s e-discovery practice. Manning, who started at Wortzman Nickle on Nov. 4, had spent the previous 12-and-a-half years as a litigator at Blake, Cassels & Graydon. According to The 2013 Lexpert/American Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada, Blakes is the sixth-largest law firm in terms of lawyer head count, in the country. Wortzman Nickle, on the other hand, has five listed attorneys on its website.
