Think your company’s social media is as simple as clicking the “Tweet” button? Think again. According to Belle Beth Cooper on Buffer, there are optimal times for sending out those email blasts, Facebook status updates and tweets. Cooper came up with a guide, which explains how to boost your social media into primetime spots.
• Facebook: Cooper says that engagement rates are 18 percent higher on Thursdays and Fridays, so save those updates for the end of the week. Also—weekends are a great time to post, because another study says that user rates are 32 percent higher. As for time frame, afternoon is a good time to post. Before work and after dinner, not so much.
