With Thanksgiving having come and gone, here’s a special Six-Pack to help you get rid of those extra pounds that came courtesy of all that gravy, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie.

1. Stick a Chip in Me. Ever wish you could just install a chip or program into your body—Terminator or Borg-style—that could make you lose weight? Well, according to the New Indian Express, scientists are working on such a chip to help obese people control their appetites. The Express reported on Wednesday that the chip could serve as an alternative to far more invasive procedures, such as liposuction, gastric bypass or lapband surgery. According to the article, the chip would detect excessive fat levels in the bloodstream and send signals to the brain making it think that the user was not hungry. When the fat levels returned to normal, then the chip would stop sending out signals that the user was full.
