Does your firm truly understand that law is moving from an “eat what you kill,” private club modus operandi to a collaborative, corporate model? If you aren’t using client relationship management software, the answer is no. And if you are only using CRM software in your marketing department the answer also is no.

Perhaps more than any other legal technology, CRM software is a litmus test of whether or not law firms understand that they can no longer survive with yesterday’s governance structures. It may not be hyperbole to suggest that any large firm that is not actively using CRM is on the path to a disbandment announcement.
