Florida’s Broward County clerk of courts has signed a contract to use a computer-based jury management system in the hope that it will make the jury process work more smoothly for clerks and prospective jurors.

Clerk of Courts Howard Forman said his office is waiting for Florida Supreme Court approval to install the $123,000 Jury+ software system from Encino, Calif.-based Jury Systems.
