Three months after announcing its $4.5 billion deal for Mercury Interactive Corp., Hewlett-Packard Co. is still struggling to close the transaction.
HP is extending until Nov. 1 its tender offer for Mercury, the Mountain View, Calif.-based business software company that delisted its shares earlier this year because of stock option backdating problems.
