A member of our legal technology community, Adobe Systems Inc., has snared a hat trick from the U.S. Green Building Council: It received three 2006 platinum awards for its environmentally responsible renovations of its offices in downtown San Jose, Calif.

The latest two “LEED” awards, for “Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design — Existing Building,” were presented Dec. 4, 2006, for Adobe’s East and Almaden towers, adding to the July 2006 win for its West tower. That makes Adobe the only company in the world that has received a triple crown of commendations, says Rick Fedrizzi, founder, president and CEO of the Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit.
