Internet telephony provider Vonage Holdings Corp. said on Thursday it has devised a way to continue its operations even if it loses a legal fight with Verizon Communications Inc.

The Holmdel, N.J., company said it has developed workarounds that would enable it to avoid infringing on all three patents that are the focus of a suit brought by Verizon last year.
