While partnerships are common in the legal technology space, integrations are even more common.

Contract review platform Kira Systems and collaboration software HighQ, two companies with fairly marked growth in the last year, recently announced an integration between their two products. The companies are the latest to integrate their products this year following integrations announced between kCura and analytics platform Videris, litigation financing startup Legalist and matter management software Clio, and Advanced Discovery and Ipro's Automated Digital Discovery (ADD) product, among others.

Kira Systems saw some big adopters last year, with consulting group Deloitte and international law firm Clifford Chance both signing aboard to use the platform's machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) tools to review contracts.
