After years of litigating a $100 million class action against Anthem Inc. by 87,000 former employees and retirees of the state of Connecticut, Adam Levin found himself anxiously awaiting the Connecticut Supreme Court's ruling on March 31.

Levin, who along with Hogan Lovells partner Craig Hoover had represented Anthem in the lawsuit that was filed in 2002, was waiting for the clock to tick to 11:30 a.m.

“I was pacing back and forth in my office, hitting the refresh button repeatedly on my browser,” said Levin, who two days before was notified when the decision would be made public on the state high court's website.
