You’ve heard of runaway juries. This is the case of the runaway arbitrator.

A mobile advertising company—represented by legal lion Herbert Wachtell, co-founder of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz—on Friday filed an outraged petition to vacate or modify an arbitration award.  The company, Kargo Global Inc., objects to an eye-popping $41 million award to an ex-employee for gender discrimination, retaliation, breach of contract, equal pay and wage law violations.
