No, the text messages flooding the phone weren’t about the election case. Shanmugam’s friends and colleagues were pinging him about the two lines at the bottom of Friday night’s orders from the High Court: A grant of a writ of certiorari for Shanmugam’s client Goldman Sachs Group Inc. in a closely-watched securities case.
