You can hardly blame Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy founder Joe Cotchett for trying the catch-more-flies-with-honey approach.

A half dozen lawyers were queued up in a Zoom hearing before U.S. District Judge Ed Davila Wednesday to object to the $87.7 million fee request Cotchett’s firm and others put in for their work on a $310 million settlement with Apple over claims the company surreptitiously slowed the speeds of older iPhones.
