Welcome to another edition of our Litigation Leaders series, featuring the litigation practice leaders of the biggest firms in the country.

Meet Loren Brown, the U.S. vice chairman of DLA Piper and chair of the firm’s U.S. disputes practice. Brown, who is based in New York, focuses on multidistrict litigation, mass torts and class actions, as well as parallel regulatory and enforcement proceedings. Last year Brown landed Litigator of the Week honors alongside Michael Imbroscio at Covington & Burling and Joseph Petrosinelli at Williams & Connolly for winning a ruling excluding an expert witness in 1,200 suits brought on behalf of men who claimed that taking Viagra or Cialis caused them to develop a deadly skin cancer.
