Welcome to the latest edition of the Lit Daily's In-House Litigation Leaders series where we focus on lawyers making the hiring decisions, shaping the strategies and managing the caseloads at some of the nation's largest and most innovative companies.

Meet Teri Peeples, the director of litigation at Organon & Co., a global healthcare company based in Jersey City, New Jersey, that was formed through a spinoff from Merck last year with a focus on improving the health of women. Aside from IP and criminal matters, Peeples oversees all global litigation at the company which has products available in more than 135 countries. Prior to joining the company, Peeples handled product liability defense work, primarily for pharmaceutical companies, as an associate at Sidley Austin. She handled similar work during an earlier stint at DLA Piper, along with some investigations and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act matters. The following has been edited for length and clarity.
