Whatever big problem your law firm faces, there’s probably a big data opportunity around it. 

Kimberly Rennick, the chief marketing and business development officer for the Americas at Allen & Overy, left me musing on that idea after we spoke last week. Rennick, who spent a couple of years as a litigator at Kutak Rock early in her career, was one of the key architects of a “Moneyball” program that DLA Piper launched last decade to harness data analytics to retain and grow revenue from existing clients.
