Apple Says Arendi Aired Confidential Patent Deal In Google Trial. Nobody's Reported It Yet. No Harm, No Foul?
Apple is seeking sanctions against Arendi, its lawyers at Susman Godfrey and an expert witness who testified in Arendi's recent patent infringement trial against Google claiming they violated a protective order by airing the amount Apple paid as part of a 2021 settlement during trial.

I can't decide whether this sounds like a good gig or a rough one.
Hannah Cannom, a partner at Walker Stevens Cannom in Los Angeles, recently got paid by Apple to attend a trial in Delaware federal court where Google fended off a $45.5 million patent claim from Arendi. Her assignment was to monitor the trial to make sure that Arendi and its lawyers didn't divulge the confidential details of a settlement Apple reached with Arendi back in 2021 in a separate lawsuit involving the patent Arendi was asserting against Google.
The plusses of that gig? A trip to Delaware where you get to see Arendi's lawyers at Susman Godfrey duke it out with Google's at Paul Hastings.
