This morning we again want to shine a light on newly-minted partners who discussed their career paths with our Law.com colleagues as part of the “How I Made It” series of Q&As over the past year. Earlier this month we brought you reflections from new litigation partners in Am Law 50 firms. Today we’ll be focusing on firms 51-100 in the Am Law 100.

A couple of themes jumped out from this batch of a half-dozen big firm litigators: For one, a number of them found ways to incorporate their unique personalities and passions into their practices. And when it comes to business development, they have an interesting mix of philosophies—some based on long-term planning and relationship building and others rooted in tireless outreach and efforts to make new contacts.
