Back when she was initially appointed to the Colorado Supreme Court in 2010, Associate Justice Monica Márquez says she had mixed feelings about the “cringe-worthy” initial headlines in the media.
They didn’t say “Governor Appoints Deputy Attorney General,” her title in the state AG’s office at the time.
