The folks at MoloLamken last week announced plans for an innovative new program to reach out to the next generation of aspiring courtroom advocates.

This summer the firm plans to host 12 students entering their final year of law school for an intensive, one-week academy in New York dealing with the finer points of trial and appellate advocacy. Participants who aren’t local will have their travel and lodging provided for and all participants will get $4,500 cash on top of the free hands-on training from Steve Molo, Jeff Lamken and their colleagues. The whole thing is timed in a way that students spending the summer working elsewhere can participate.
