Last month we told you about the Lead Counsel Summit, an effort aimed at helping the next generation of women litigators take lead roles in high-stakes intellectual property trials and appeals.

This morning we’re turning our focus to a similar program aimed more broadly at women litigators. The National Institute for Trial Advocacy is set to host the fourth installment of its “Women in Trial” program starting on Sept. 18. The training will bring together about 50 women from across the country for three days of hands-on trial skills training with about two dozen NITA faculty, all women. After launching the program virtually in 2021 and holding it in Seattle and Denver over the past two years, this year’s session will be at the Chicago office of Baker McKenzie.
