Ever since Visa Inc. and MasterCard Inc. agreed last summer to pay a record $7.25 billion to resolve antitrust claims related to credit card processing fees, observers have been curious to learn how much plaintiffs lawyers hoped to get out of the deal.
The first indication came Friday, when the trio of law firms representing the classRobins Kaplan Miller & Ciresi, Berger & Montague, and Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowdasked for $720 million in fees.
