So much for that.
After more than four years and who knows how much money spent duking it out in federal court in Manhattan, Terra Firma Capital Partners Ltd and Citigroup Inc. have opted to let an English court deal with their dispute over the 2007 sale of music label EMI Group Ltd. The news is something of a letdown for U.S. litigation junkies like us, who were hoping to see a rematch between trial heavyweights David Boies of Boies, Schiller & Flexner and Theodore Wells Jr. of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.
