James Tyrrell Jr., the prominent Patton Boggs litigator who was not expected to be part of the firm’s merger with Squire Sanders, has landed at Edwards Wildman & Palmer as a partner.

A day after the creation of Squire Patton Boggs, Edwards Wildman announced that Tyrrell will practice in its New York and Morristown, N.J., offices, focusing on litigation, including tort, product liability and complex commercial litigation.
