The Explorers Club and its lawyers at Boies, Schiller & Flexner have made nice with Diageo plc, the liquor giant they sued after it launched a line of whiskeys called the Johnnie Walker Explorers’ Club Collection.
The Explorers Club, a Manhattan-based organization that bills itself as “the world center for exploration,” announced on Friday that it settled two lawsuits it brought against Diageo last year. As part of the deal, Johnnie Walker will become one of the Explorers Club’s corporate sponsors. The exact terms of the deal are confidential.
