After fighting for three years to undo a $391 million patent infringement verdict it lost to Versata Software Inc., SAP AG has finally thrown in the towel.
In a stipulation filed on Oct. 3 in U.S. district court in Marshall, Texas, SAP and Versata announced that they’ve reached a settlement and licensing deal. U.S. Magistrate Judge Roy Payne signed off on the stipulation on Monday.
