Novartis AG is turning into a serial litigation target for plaintiffs lawyers at Sanford Heisler Kimpel, a firm that’s already secured more than $270 million in settlements related to the pharmaceutical company’s employment practices. The latest salvo came on Tuesday, when Sanford Heisler hit one of Novartis’ largest business units with a $110 million gender bias lawsuit.

In a 32-page complaint in Manhattan federal court, the firm accused Novartis and its Alcon Laboratories Inc. unit of discriminating against Elyse Dickerson, who was fired in January from her position as an Alcon global director, and Susan Orr, a former product strategy director who resigned in April 2014. Orr seeks to lead a proposed collective action of other female directors at the company.
