Not all plaintiffs lawyers are bemoaning a series of decisions from the Delaware Chancery Court cracking down on disclosure-only M&A settlements.

“M&A litigation isn’t dead,” said Randall Baron, a partner at Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd, which helped pioneer such litigation and has recovered $1.2 billion for shareholders in the last 15 years. “It’s probably just being healed from the negative effects of self-interested lawyers on both sides.”
