Some lawyers wait years for the chance to argue before a federal court of appeals.

Kellie Kulka did it as a third-year law student–and won a precedent-setting decision from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit dealing with sentencing guidelines and restitution calculations. The Sixth Circuit Blog called it “a huge win for the defense.”
