Four journalists who were arrested while covering the protests in Ferguson, Missouri, following the death of Michael Brown in 2014 settled a lawsuit against the St. Louis County Police Department on Wednesday.

Represented pro bono by Squire Patton Boggs of counsel Corrine Irish, the reporters alleged that they were shot at and arrested and had their hands tightly bound with plastic restraints for hours, even though they clearly identified themselves as journalists and displayed press credentials.
