The new Supreme Court term is just around the corner, kicking off on October 4. In anticipation, four experts on Tuesday offered insights on cases to watch as well as the court’s composition and future.
With fewer cases than usual on the docket, it’s not shaping up to be a blockbuster term, lawyers speaking at a panel sponsored by the Federalist Society agreed. Blame the eight-member court–Merrick Garland’s nomination has been pending for a record 195 days.
