The recounts in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan won’t change the election results–we all know that, right? But they need to happen anyway.
Not just to quiet those on the left who suspect Russian hacking or other interference in the vote tallies. But also to counter Donald Trump’s unsubstantiated claim on Sunday that in addition to winning the Electoral College, he also “won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally.”
