It may not top the audience for “The Celebrity Apprentice,” but nonetheless it’s heartening so many people tuned in to oral arguments before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit on Tuesday over President Trump’s travel ban.

On the court’s website alone, a record 137,000 people listened to the live, audio-only stream. That doesn’t count everyone who tuned in via CNN, which was granted direct audio access by the court as the pool feed, or other media outlets.
